    counting the days & it is our waiting games for this week!!!!!! Physically prepared? Oh yesss coz abdomen already looks like 2 fetus inside but actually it just ONE! Mentally? Oh yessssssss..well prepared since d day one I was expecting Emotionally??? uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....ini yg confused skit! Am having an increase in the frequency or vividness of dreams lately. Anxiety about becoming a parent fuel a lot of strange pregnancy dreams.
I'm getting a lot more Braxton Hicks contractions now & bad water-retention..issshh....'huduh' laaa..tgk kaki..dah xde 'ropa kaki'.
Eventho, I did a lot of readings & searching via net regarding this '9 months journey' but the 'fear' factors is unavoidable till we were at the PREPARATION FOR CHILDBIRTH CLASS last weekend. I was soo excited...but tgk my hubby relax jer! Ha!ha! Yer laaa..I'm the one who will do 'huffing' & 'breathing' later on. During the class, our O & G, Dr Rosita has made us understand more bout the pain control in labour.Alamak..cemane nie?? Doc. cakap labour pain is between sakit gigi & cancer  Mulaaa naik ketaq habih la seluruh badan..rasa mcm jantung nak luruh pon ada.
When our physiotherapist teach us the exercises for labour ...I feel more confident then... she said we should start the pelvic floor exercise & breathing technic at d early stage of pregnancy. Anyway, she said to be 'firm & toning' (body) I must immediately do those exercises during my post-natal. I read bout Rose Chan before, lady that died with the breast cancer dis. Anyone know her??? I think she must be 'famous' then..coz I observed many blog writers even journalist do wrote bout her including Malaysian-born Bakri Musa - a surgeon in private practice in Silicon Valley, California. he!he! Cik Mimie nak citer d significant of pelvic floor & Rose Chan..tapi bagi biography Bakri Musa lakssssss sungguh menyimpang dari maksud sebenar. Ms Yew (physiotherapist) said Rose Chan did the pelvic floor exercise 1 hour per day....that's how she can stay longer with her 'profession'. Gentle REMINDER..pelvic floor exercise is benificial for both gender
When the chief nursing officer, Ms Lim talked bout breast feeding I get more excited. Bukan apa...I keep reading articles & journal bout this topic..tapi mcm tak puas hati gitu..ha!ha! yer la....baca snirik jer..mana la tahu info. tuh practical ker tak kan? So bila dah dengaq snirik dari Ms Lim..baru ler puas hati..I'm FREAK kan????
I think the most enjoyable lesson...bila midwife Hamizan bagi demo bath/caring for baby..sbb I tgk my hubby pon gelak sakan! Then..the hospital's director, Mr Raden pon sharing his own experience bout this. His said one of the amazing & enjoyable thing to do with your baby is 'bathing'!!!! Tapi..sayang seribu kali sayang..kami tak dapat snap pic. utk dikongsi bersama FP viewers..since our dig. camera punya bateri tetiba 'kong'!!!! Pastu, kami di bawa ke delivery room...wah terase mcm budak med. school lak..di bawa beramai2 meninjau sekitar wad Syok mmg syok..tapi mcm nak tanye jer..'eh..wayar tuh utk ape erk? Nape ada tube kat situ erk? Nape katil dia mcm tuh erk?..Tapi tak tanyer pong..sbb dlm hati dup!dap!dup!dap! bila pikior...this is the place that I'll push my full energy & effort sooner

Ikan bakar Telok Tempoyak...'sure makan'...ehhhh..tukar2.. 'jom makan' since TV3 pon dah tukar Karnival SURE HEBOH to karnival JOM HEBOH. After 4 yrs sinonim dgn promo sebelumya DEMI memartabat dan memperkasakan bahasa Melayu they all tukar kepada promo baru. Bagus2!
Tapi entry kali nie bukan cik Mimie nak cakap pasal BAHASA..tapi nak kongsi pasal MAKAN lagi In Penang there are a few 'port' to have ikan bakar but the famous one is Telok Tempoyak. It is about 10km from Penang International Airport to Telok Tempoyak. Emmm.....air asam + kuah kicap cili padinya ...fuhhhhhhh...'wa cakap lu...terangkat habis beb' ..he!he! tuh gaya mat rock cakap ler..tapi dgn istilah lain...memangggggg sedap! Ikan yg dibakar pun 'well-done'..actually bukan ikan saja yg ada boleh dibakar di situ tapi..udang & ketam pun ada. Semuanya fresh..ikan lompat2 & ketam tuh... siap merayap2 lagi! Sotong biasanya dicelup tepung & standard price utk sotong celup tepung di sini..ada sepinggan, RM5 dan RM10. Kalau ikan bakar di Umbai, Melaka org akan makan dgn nasi lemak bersambal dan tak kurang hebatnya di sini kerana kuah sambal ikan bilis pun disediakan.
So, JOM MAKAN ikan bakar Telok Tempoyak..harga yg sungguh berpatutan....citarasa yg mengagumkan..dgn suasana 'telok' yg mendamaikan! But for outsiders..actually at the same area, ada dua 'port' utk menjamu selera...satu port yg ala2 chalet, eksklusif skit..and lagi satu, open-space ala2 gerai kampung. But base on my observation..the one yg ala2 gerai kampung tuh..lebih ramai visitors..dan di sana juga 'port' kami last nite!
We all makan ikan bakar + tomyam campur + sotong celup tepung jer...wahh..itu pon dah buat cik Mimie kekenyangan tahap nak 'rebah' ke bumi. Full!! Nak jalan ke car park pon ala2 penguin yg dapat makan stock ikan sebulan Just u all imagineeeeeeeeeeeeeee...gerun kan???

Emmm....dah lama tak makan MEE UDANG! And lama juga tak makan MEE KUNING after 'havoc' bout the 'mee ingredients' in mass-media. They said some of the brand is non-HALAL and most critical one, they put acid borix as well!! Acid borix???? Cik Mimie bukan ahli kimia but as far as I concern, acid borix nie org guna utk 'mumiakan' mayat supaya tak busuk!!!! Eeeiiiiii....takutnya nak makan mee kuning!!
He!He! Tapi..itu last two months...dek kempunan nak makan mee udang..last weekend we went to Ayu's Restaurant for MEE UDANG. We heard ppl said MEE SALWA is the best around that area (and I remember, fren- Dilla'd posted bout Mee Salwa in her web blog) But hubby's fren said now Ayu's Mee Udang is much more cheaper & tasteful compare to Salwa. So...Ayu's Restaurant laaaa..destinasi kami
At first, order yg berkuah tapi dah bawa mak buyong sorang nie..teringin pulak nak makan yg goreng basah2...so total up ..3 pinggan utk 2 org makan!!!! The price is quite OK..RM30.00 for 3 and udang per plate ada 3-4 ekor!! Oh noooooo..cholesterol..C27H45OH (formula kimia)...cholesterol..cholesterol.. Itu lepas makan baru 'teringat'!!!
So, to FP viewer kalau datang ke Bayan Lepas..mai la makan MEE UDANG di sini. Emmm...bagi kami yg suka 'jalan2 cari makan' nie..we think MEE UDANG SG DUA (mainland) lagi ada ummmmmppph! Lagi best....and Mee Udang at Sg Dua..we can order the fresh prawn.. how many kilo that we want..then, they will cook with the mee or mee-hoon! Ishhhh...tetiba air liur penuh mulut!

Last weekend, we went to Liza's wedding. I've met Watie, Ina, Waheda & Oha..they're my former schoolmates. Alahaiiiiiiii..cik Mimie geram sangat2 tengok anak Watie & anak Oha..comel! Watie's daughter mcm 'baby doll'..very cuteeeeeeee.. & Oha's son pulak ..hensom banget..siap ada lesung pipit both side After eat & snap 2-3 pictures with d bride & groom, we've to rush back to SP, jadi tak sempat la gebang panjang ngan kengkawan
Prosperity burger? In d mid of 90's ... MC D 'd introduced their prosperity burger kat Mesia nie. And we all masa tuh..kebetulan semester break, so we decided to have that burger at One Stop, Midland Park Pulau Tikus. Punya la beriyaaa nak makan burger..sanggup we all cross d island ( both stay in mainland) just to 'taste' that burger! Jadi setiap kali MC D offering prosperity burger, normally during CNY mesti cik Mimie teringat to my fren Liza.
Beside the prosperity burger, byk lagi kenangan silam cik Mimie ngan Liza nie...we were in d same class masa form 1 and both are school prefect. Eventho, kami bilik lain2 (hostel), cik Mimie bilik Melur & Liza bilik Sakura ( tp masa Form one kami sebilik, bilik Kenanga) bila time 'stay-up" mesti turun study sama2 kat bilik stay-up. Prep habis kul 10:30 pm..then gi supper pas tuh..'berkampung' ler kat bilik stay-up till 2-3 pagi (preparation for SPM). And kekadang...kami study awal subuh..Yang best tuh siap booking2 seat lagi kat bilik stay-up ..yer laaa...bilik tuh agak besar...tp ada ker patut pihak sekolah pasang dua tiga biji jer kipas syiling???? So..sape sampai awai leh la booked dok bawah kipas!!! Then, hostel kami dekat ngan hospital bersalin...ishhh..kdg2 kami dengaq bunyi mcm2 selain bunyi suara babies bila dok study till mid-night tuh..tp Alhamdulillah..kami tak pernah nampak 'objek yg bukan2'. Liza nie very hardworking person,dia buka buku jer..mmg full concentration. I la kekadang.."liza hang dengaq dak??" Jom..kita naik bilik tidoq..esok sambung".. I nie species.. penakut! Tapi mmg Liza terbukti berani..dulu2 dia dengar suara babies...now dia pula 'sambut' babies! Dr Norliza, O & G , Hospital Seberang Jaya.
Lepas habis exam SPM, packing barang semua nak balik kampung..she's d one yg tolong hantaq barang2 I kat kereta my dad. Ishhhhhh....sedih laaaa time tuh nak tinggal Liza! Liza budak pure science..so depa ada dua tiga paper lagi to be finished. Jadi kami budak2 soc. science balik duluuuu.. And after SPM result kuar..she went to med. school & I went to bus. school at different uni. Tapi setiap kali sem. break mesti kami 'outing' togather2 MUSTI!
Bila masing2 dah start kerja pun...setiap kali Liza balik Penang..mesti 'lepak' nyer la ngan dia. Mcm2 citer..part yg paling best bout her..dia nie kaki shopping..kaki kumpul kasut! Mcm2 collection kasut dia ada. Kalau shopping baju...mesti dia cekau dua tiga pasang sekali shopping. ha!ha! I ler tukang pegang baju dia..outside changing room. Yer laaa..sekali try sampai 4-5 pasang! Seronok kan kenangkan balik kisah zaman2 dolu.
Now she become Mrs Ifan! So..pasni...I dah tak jadi 'kaunselor hati' Liza lagi...since Liza dah 'bersama buah hatinya'.....

To frens & relatives..thanks a lot for the wishes..especially with those sweet thoughts via SMS. And to my lovely hubby...Thanks say**g for d b'day present..I luv it! And thank you for EVERYTHING.
Just two of us....opssss "three" of us celebrated my 2* birthday at Pizza Hut last nite!  Can't wait to be with my other families member this coming weekend! Yeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...makan-makan lagi...tambah 'berat badan' lagi!

Berlalu lah..sudah...10 Zulhijjah...kita 'berkorban'..(he!he! bila baca tolong ikut lagu Hari Raya Elena & Anuar sambil nyanyi)
1st day raya Aidil-Adha cik Mimie & hubby di rumah our parents, Sg Bakap..then the next day kami balik ke Alor Setar utk laksanakan ibadah korban. Uishhhh..cik Mimie kira mencapai tahap keberanian maximum apabila sanggup melihat lembu2 (14 ekor) ditumbangkan one by one! Sebenar2nyaaaaaaaa...dlm hati nie..takut bila tengok leher lembu kena sembelih..darah 'fresh' terpancut..si lembu 'mengaum' kesakitan di saat2 nyawa di hujung tanduk..then plus 'kesian'..tp when I noticed my niece, Nurina so EXCITED 'nak tgk cow' ( takde takut pon dia ) malu laks..ler MakSu dia nie nak tunjuk muka takut! He!he! Spirit comes from d little niece.
Anyway, cik Mimie terfikir sejenak..akan kisah Nabi Ibrahim a.s yg diperintah oleh Allah s.w.t utk 'menyembelih' anaknya Ismail. Emmm...IMAGINE...besar sungguh 'pengorbanan Nabi Ibrahim & isteri beliau, Siti Hajar demi menyahut suruhan Allah! Bagaimana dengan kita???????? Apakah bentuk 'pengorbanan' yg telah dilakukan? Sejauh mana 'pengorbanan' itu bermanafaat ke jalan Allah? Tepuk dada tanya IMAN
Almost a week 'berkampung' di Aloq Setaq...then, on Saturday cik Mimie bertolak balik ke Sg Bakap & singgah di Kulim, to attend my fren wedding- FARAHIDA & AL-FUZI. Farah was my former schoolmate. Both, were school & hostel's prefect. And we're netball players. She's d GA (gol attack) & me??? Ha!ha! C (center). My zaman 'kegemilangan' dah berlalu but Farah still active with the game. Main utk Maybank! Tapi kalau cik Mimie nampak padang netball...ish..rasa 'teringin' bebenor nak melompat! B'coz I luv this game very much..tp tak berkesempatan jadi state player utk netball..frust tul..tp 'terubat' gak coz jadi state player utk handball...tp bila gi MSSM (masa tuh kat Kuantan)...Penang dapat nombot corot! Maluuu jer...Natijah, dari keaktifan bermain netball & handball di zaman belia-remaja...terlihat kesannya hingga kini..sokmo sakit kaki & pinggang Tambahan lagi ngan perubahan fizikalku kini..uishhhhhhh...lagi laaaaaaa sakit! Ishhh..tak baik merungut nooooo...apa pun sakit itu KIFARAH dari Allah ta'ala! Hapus dosa2 kecil! Ameen........

Last weekend cik Mimie balik kampung..to my parents house @ Sg Bakap. Selain 'enjoying' eating mum's dishes, cik Mimie cukup suka d environment outside & inside d house...a place called HOME!
He!he! Mcm tajuk movie lak kan??? While writing this teringat plak movie acting by Ann Margaret nie! Anyone of FP viewers pernah tgk citer nie??? I like this movie (kira bagi 7/10), not just because of d story plot but also d scene it take! Cantikkkkkkk sangattttttttt... I luv to see Tula's house..her landscape & etc...how do I wish to have such a beautiful house!

Christmas hols. PIL & SIL came and visited us..selain dr agenda 'makan2' kami pun 'jalan2'..so JALAN-JALAN CARI MAKAN For this entry mai cik Mimie shares a few places that we went at this tropical island in the Strait of Malacca, last weekend.
27th Dec 05 ( gi Penang Hill)
Rises 830 meter above sea level and is the highest mountain on Penang.
Penang Hill is actually a complex of hills and spurs. Some of the flora and fauna of Penang Hill are considered as endemic species. The furnicular train has its own colorful history. The first attempt in 1897-1905 was met with failure. The successful second attempt was built from 1907-1923. There is a tunnel which measures 258 feet long and 10 feet wide starting at steepness of 35 feet high. This is the steepest tunnel in the world. A fascinating little cable train lifts you up out of the heat to a fabulous view and a cool breeze. Here you can enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the coastal area. He!he! My last visit to Penang Hill when I was 16 during the STUDENT EXCHANGE program (anyone of FP viewers have involved in this program in 1993?) And I'd d opportunity to climb up there/hiking when I was 12. Penat ooooooo..tapi masa tuh..very energetic..budak2ler katakan..3 hrs took us to reach the top! If now suruh cik Mimie hiking..rasanya it may take me half of the day..kih!kih!

The Botanic Gardens on Penang are located at the end of Waterfall Road, about 8 kilometres form the Georgetown city centre. The Gardens came to existence in 1884. Previously it was an old granite quarry. The the Gardens were known as "the Waterfall Gardens", because at the end of the Botanic Gardens is a 122-metre high cascade waterfall with its water flowing through the Gardens.
Nowadays you can't visit the waterfall, because it's on the territory of the water supply. Only on special occasions you can visit this waterfall. I think, the waterfall is only very beautiful, when it has rained very hard, because when you look at the stream from the waterfall in the Garden, it is very small. And my first visit to this botanic garden when I was 5, masa tuh..my mum accompany my auntie to meet his fiancee (now dah jadi husband & wife). Baguih noo org dulu2..keluaq dating pon siap bawa 'teman'. Last time..ishhh..monyet cukup banyak kat sana..but now very 'rare' you can see the monkeys around! Yg best kat sini..ada ais roti! Emmm..sape pernah makan..sila angkat tangan!He!he! To those yg tak tahu pasal 'ais roti' nie..sila2lah..ke Botanical Garden utk menikmatinyaaaa..nyum!nyum!

Komplek Bukit Jambul or known as KBJ is the famous 'lepaking' port for teenagers around Bayan Lepas area. At one time, this complex 'dibanjiri' oleh minah Indon & mat2 Indon..and now byk Viamese, Siamese & Bangladeshe. Kat atas ada POPULAR book store, tp jarang FULL..yg slalu FULL kat bowling stop & cinema Dolu2..kalo cik Mimie nak baca 'buku FREE'..gi naik kat atas tuh..he!he!Ni pon category lepak gak...tp 'lepak berkhasiat'...bace cover story dulu..ada duit baru beli buku2 tuh...And kat depan KBJ ada boutique Leonard Drake..cik Mimie 'lepak' gak kat situ...tp Mak cik Mimie slalu 'perli'..coz lepak kat Leonard Drake..'tak berkhasiat'..perabih duit jer kater Mak, tapi tak cantik pon mcm Miss World! Kater Mak "tiru mcm saya"...tak yah pun gi facial, padicure, manicure & etc mahal2..tp mantain 'mudo'! So sejak dua menjak nie...lama dah cik Mimie tak ke Leonard Drake utk 'lepak', he!he! tapi mana tahu kot2 hubby 'terchenta' nak bagi 'sumbangsih' (sumbang + kasih) utk cik Mimie 'lepak' lagi di sanaaa
Masa we all makan kat MC D..nampak byk artist makan2 & jalan2 kat sana..coincident that nite Party Chit Chat Azwan Ali 2005 will be held at EQ Hotel..terserempak ler kami ngan Sheila Mambo, Zamani, Ida Moin..ishhh ramai lagi laaaaa..ha!ha! SIL & I ... 'berlakon' saja2 jalan tepi deme2 tuh..ha!ha! tumpang glamor!

3rd December 2005, gonna be tarikh 'keramat' bagi k Mah & pasangannya! Sekalung TAHNIAH dari kami Dah lama kenal kakak 'comel' sorang nie...sejak mula jadi mahasiswa (under-graduate studies) sampai ler ke peringkat mahasistua (post graduate studies) He!he! Masa under-graduate sama2 satu usrah ( uishhhh..jgn ingat cik Mimie nie baik sgt..kih!kih! slalu skip usrah tau.. tapi time depa buat TAMRIN join gak laa) Then, bila buat Master paper, sama2 dok bersengkang mata inside d MBA lounge till 3-4 a.m siapkan project assign. subject Advance Statistic. Mcm2 ler cerita-ceriti dikongsi bersama sepanjang perkenalan (he!he! mcm org bercinta laks). For me, she's a PERFECTIONIST! Agaknyer org yg major in OM (operation management) nie..mmg nak semua benda perfect jer kan????
Last time dpt makan telur rebus minang ( telur yg direbus with daun kayu-kayan tuh) during Rosie's auntie wedding kat Batu Pahat, Johor. Kenduri K Mah @ Shah Alam, tuan rumah buat bunga telur rebus minang tuh jugak. Syoknyer dpt merasa sekali lagi Kenduri kahwin org Utara semenanjung mana ada telur direbus mcm gitu kan? Secara simbolik pemberian telur semasa majlis perkahwinan sbg petanda 'kesuburan'. Subur? Subjektif kan? Might be 'subur' kepada pasangan yg baru melangkah ke gerbang perkahwinan...& juga 'subur' berterusan kpd org yg terima bunga telur tuh! Tapi kalau telur tuh direbus ditambah dgn elemen2 daun kayu kayan nie..mesti ada 'rahsia' atau simboliknya yg tersendiri...org2 yg berpengalaman mesti tahu WHY kan?
Seronok gi KL kali nie coz semua mega shopping complex ada sales!!!! At Bangsar Mall..mcm ada convention jual coklat plak..penuh juai coklat @ their concourse level. KLCC having 3 days sale..adoihhh...nak shop pilih brg pun 'bau org' jer..ramai giler umat gi KLCC! Kat Mid Valley..dah siap dah..pokok pine tiruan & salji buatan! Siap ada frozen trees lagik..ala2 pokok xdak daun during winter Creative mmg ler creative but mcm komen Mat Jan kat web blog dia...org yg sambut christmas kat Mesia nie mcm takde identiti sendiri. He!he! Dah dok Mesia...apa kata sambut krismas bawah pokok kelapa? Contoh yg paling relevan kaum yg tak lupa identiti during perayaan ...adalah mcm org Melayu Mesia yg sambut raya kat overseas..ketupat, rendang, lontong, baju melayu..baju kurung & etc mesti tak dilupakan Org Afrika celebrate Aidilfitri dgn cara mereka.. org Jepun celebrate Aidilfitri dgn cara mereka...ishhhh..betul la ISLAM itu mmg UNIVERSAL! Merry Christmas nie perayaan agama? Or perayaan kebudayaan?? Ha!ha! Cik Mimie dah panjang lebau lak citer pasai benda nie...baik stop before citer pendek jadi thesis
Apapun, keseronakan bercuti di KL 'terbantut'..when our apartment has been robbed on last Saturday. Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaa....hubby's laptop, PDA, sport shoes, coin box of 50 cents collection, habih si 'penyamun' tuh amik masa we all gi KL!!!!!!! Yg lagi sedih tuh..jam yg ada sentimental value pun di amiknyer..kejam tahap dewa betul penyamun tuh! Jam tuh my parents hadiahkan during my 21st b'day! Sayang oooooooooo...tapi nak buat camner 'rezeki' ngan jam tuh sampai last week jer..yg lain rezeki penyamun tuh! Tragis tul nak tinggal rumah lelama. Now adays..staying in apartment yg ada security guard pon kena ceroboh! He!he! Agaknyer rumah2 kat Mesia nie kena pasang tirai besi mcm jail tuh Kat overseas...rumah tak yah pagar pun kan?? Mcm dlm citer Desperate Housewives tuh...cantik & aman damai jer suasana neighbourhood. Fav. show we all kat AXN, is the CSI...tak sangka lak rumah we all pun atlast kena go thru kerja2 CSI oleh pihak police Mesia. Tapi hubby cakap..depa buat kerja mcm tak bersungguh jer???? Kuang2...kuang2...jgn lak hasil tulisan nie di bawa ke sidang Parlimen Nanti kesian Datuk Noh Omar kena soal lagi kat sidang parlimen
